Donn has a BA in Economics from North Carolina State University and has served clients in the Bay Area since 1980. He earned his Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations from the American College, Bryn Mawr, PA in 1987. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and the Stanford University Men’s Golf Club.
His goal is to help families, professionals and business owners build and preserve their net worth. He has the skills, knowledge and experience required to help meet his clients' established goals. Donn loves being a lifetime resource for each and every client.

In his spare time, Donn has coached junior golf for over 30 years. He is currently head girls golf coach at Castilleja School in Palo Alto. He also hosts golf clinics for his clients and is the author of “Outwit the Yips - Proven Tips to Trick Your Golf Mind.”
He enjoys being a walking scorekeeper for the Stanford Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams, and is an avid fan of the SF Giants, 49ers and Warriors.
Donn and his wife, Sara, a Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner, have lived in Belmont since 2006. They have two grown children and two grandchildren, love international travel, fine art, gourmet food and wine. Donn is passionate about photography and tending to their Japanese style gardens at home.
